About Emily

I am a licensed independent clinical social worker practicing in the Washington, D.C. area. I’m a native (and proud) Texan, but I am grateful to consider D.C. my second home.

I came into this field driven by a strong belief in the importance of high quality, compassionate, supportive mental health care. I chose to pursue a license in social work due to my passion for the intersection of social justice and mental health. My work in various mental health settings includes court-mandated mental health treatment care, psychodynamic psychotherapy, middle school mental health care, and grief and trauma therapy. In my free time, I love to read, bake, travel, exercise, explore my favorite cities, and spend time with my loved ones.
